Photographer/artist/model/new LGBTQIA+ icon Richie Shazam makes her directorial debut in this moving autobiographical film about how she found herself and the people who became her family. This dream like personal essay takes us from Richie's childhood in a West Indian family and her mother's death, to her journey to acceptance of her own body and identity and her blossoming as a creative force and trans icon. Supporting Converse’s global campaign for Pride highlighting the beauty of Found Family, Riche’s film made its debut at the Tribeca Festival to a standing room only audience of over 500 friends and fans. A conversation between Richie and best friend Julia Fox followed the screening, which became a party afterward.
