Nike’s brand research team found that in 2023, girls are dropping out of sports at twice the rate of boys by age 12.

As a result, we created a global content series to address the issue of girls not participating in sports, while encouraging them to embrace the power of play. We worked with Nike athletes and young girls, in hopes of creating a safe space for real, unscripted, girl-to-girl conversations that not only normalized fears and vulnerabilities, but showed how sport activities can be empowering. This content series was presented across Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok, alongside a custom track by Flyana Boss.
